Bumblebee Rose m2s is linebred to the world-class mare Gold Rose (the dam of both Hornet Rose and Calvados). Sire: Hornet Rose is by Quidam de Revel and out of the great mare Gold Rose (Ibrahim x Hornet xx). Gold Rose was conformation champion of France. As an international showjumper Gold Rose won the Grand Prix of Paris and Madrid and was second in the Grand Prix of Lisbon, Barcelona and Hamburg. As a breeding mare she produced three approved stallions: Turban Rose (by Grand Veneur), Calvados (by Uriel) and Hornet Rose. The international showjumper Keen Rose (by Calypso) is also an offspring of Gold Rose. The dam of Gold Rose, Jolie Rose, also jumped internationally. She won the French eventing championship in 1962.
