Among his accomplishments were: 1st in the Grand Prix of Leeuwaarden, 2nd in the Grand Prix of Zuidlaren, and 4th in the Grand Prix of 'S-Hertogenbosch, all under the very talented international rider Peter Geerink. Iroko is at the top of the KWPN showjumping index with a score of 173. Iroko is also producing many talented dressage horses in Holland and the USA. Iroko is by Pilot, the jumper progenitor of the nineties who claims a top ranking in the German jumping index and is ranked by the WBFSH as the world's 6th best sire with 32 progeny jumping at the highest levels in international competition. Iroko's dam Bianca, a German State Premium Mare, is by Bengale, whose progeny have been very successful in showjumping. Bianca's dam Ricke is by Remus II, a grandson of the great Anglo-Arabian sire Ramzes with the blood of Shagya in his damline. This is the line that produced the great dressage sire Rubinstein.
Dam: Dolores is a KWPN Keur Preferent mare, and she was the Dutch loose-jumping champion as a 3-year-old. Dolores' progeny include Ginomia, a Ster mare; Hera, a Ster mare that is dam of the international showjumping mare Miss Martha; Infinity, an L-level dressage mare; Jenifer, a Keur mare that is dam of the Z1 dressage horse Olympic Gold and the international showjumper New Gold; Katinka, a Ster mare and B-level dressage competitor; and Odessa. Dolores is by Voltaire. Voltaire is one of the world's greatest sires and the Preferent star of the KWPN. Voltaire was the sire with the most offspring at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. Moreover Voltaire was second in 1999 in the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses ranking of showjumping sires. Voltaire has 28 offspring jumping internationally and over 30 approved sons in Europe. Many of his offspring jump at Grand Prix level, i.e. Finesse, Altaire, Kahlua, Play it Again (the full brother to the dam of Pandina Bella M2S), Helios, Electro, Dante (the dam of Holiday M2S), Especial, etc. Voltaire is also recognized as a sire of dressage horses. Foltaire is a famous offspring of Voltaire in the international dressage ring. The dam of Dolores is Falstergold, a Preferent Kroon mare who was the champion mare of her province as a 2-, 3-, and 4-year old. Falstergold's progeny include Sandra, a Keur mare that dam of the Keur Prestatie mare Deavel; Lonka, a Keur mare; Valstergold, a Keur mare that is the grand-dam of the international showjumping mare Kalstergold and the fourth dam of the NRPS-approved stallion Carpe Diem; Dolores, a Keur Preferent mare; Esthergold, who was awarded the Sport-Showjumping predicate by the KWPN and is the dam of the 1.30 m. jumping mare Miraooli; Goldstar, dam of the 1.30 m. jumping mare New Star that is dam of the Ster mare Violet; and Niagara, a KWPN-approved stallion. Falstergold's sire Aristides also carries the blood of the great Shagya. Two important sons of the great Hanoverian dressage sire Weltmeyer, namely Wolkentanz I and Wolkentanz II, have Aristides as the sire of their dam's dam - the exact same position that Aristides occupies in Odessa's pedigree. The following international showjumpers have been produced by this damline (Hannover 765): Taxco LS, Chamico LS, New Gold, Wind Shear m2s, Cassus van Cayzele, Kalstergold. The dressage stallion Lissaro, which won the Bundeschampionate in 2008, 2009, and 2010 also descends from this damline.
Plans for 2013: Odessa is in foal to Consall B, and the expected foaling date is 6 June 2013.
