Zonah's Tesoro m2s

By Boherdeal Clover x Satco xx x Treasure Kay xx.
Bay.
Born 1997.
Registered by the Irish Sport Horse Studbook.

Zonah's Tesoro m2s is an elegant mare with top showjumping bloodlines. Both grand-dams of Zonah's Tesoro are Dublin Horse Show Champions. Zonah's Tesoro had a colt foal by Condios in May 2002, named Contango m2s, that is eventing in England. In 2005 Zonah's Tesoro had a colt by Ulysses m2s, named Atitlan m2s, now owned by an amateur rider in England who competes him successfully in Novice dressage. On 9 April 2008 she produced a bay filly by Désir du Chateau named Désir de Zonah m2s that Morningside Stud has retained.

Sire: Boherdeal Clover is an international Grand Prix horse that competed for the Irish Army. In 2001 he won the Nations Cup of Sweden (Falsterbo); placed 2nd in the Nations Cup of Denmark (Ikast); placed 4th in the Nations Cup of Portugal (Lisbon); and won the Lisbon Grand Prix Audi. Boherdeal Clover's dam, Virginia Wolfa (Regular Guy xx x Zolferine xx), won and placed highly numerous times in prestigious showing classes in Ireland. In 1988 at the Royal Dublin Horse Show, Virginia Wolfa was the Equitec Breeders Champion with a Diamond Lad foal at foot who also took the Foal Championship that year. Virgina Wolfa's sire, the thoroughbred Regular Guy, was winner over one-and-one-half miles in England, and placed four times from start six including second in the White Rose Stakes (Group 3), Dante Stakes (Group 3) and Wooditton Stakes. Regular Guy was retired to stud in 1976 and produced numerous Point-to-Point and National hunt winners. He also sired "Irish", the international showjumper who won for America the Individual Bronze Medal at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992. Regular Guy's sire, the Right Royal V xx, won the French Derby, King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth Stakes. Right Royal V appears in numerous classic pedigrees as maternal grandsire. Virginia Wolfa's damsire, Zolferine xx, sired the late Paul Darragh's Grade A showjumper For Sure and a host of other good jumping horses. Zolferine traces through his sire line to the great Tourbillon xx. Many excellent international jumping lines stem from Tourbillon. For example, the legendary Abgar xx, a foundation sire of the KWPN studbook, finds Tourbillon in his dam's sireline.

Dam: Zonah's Pet is also the dam of Captain Carnute, a 1.30 m. showjumping stallion approved by the Irish Sport Horse Studbook and the CNC* eventer Fernhill Sea Breeze. She is sired by the French thoroughbred Satco xx (Blakeney xx x Nonoalco xx), and she is a daughter of Zonah's Treasure, the Dublin Thoroughbred Filly Champion. Blakeney can be found in showjumping bloodlines (for example, the important sire of showjumpers, Julio Mariner xx, is by Blakeney) and Nonoalco xx traces back to the legendy Nearco xx, winner of 14 races in 14 starts. The TB sire Edmund Burke xx, which stood in Ireland, descends from the direct damline; Manometer xx, which played a significant in Germany for the Holsteiner Studbook, also comes from this damline.
